Have you ever go the extra miles just to adhere to the friendship rule: “That’s what friends are for?”
But in the end that particular act left you feeling a little… betrayed?
Because when you needed help your friends just wouldn’t go the extra mile like you did?
Not that you expect anything in return for whatever favor that you have done for them. But, you just want them to appreciate relationship like you do and adhere to the same rule because well, that’s what friends are for, right?
I have. Almost all the time.
Sometimes, it happens when I least expect it to and from people whom I least expect to do it.
Which got me to thinking, is there anymore genuine friendship left in this world?
Or is everything now just a fake?
Is friendship just another prototype for people to experiment on and when they feel that person is unsuited to be their friend, they just turn their back against them?
Is friendship just another imitation to people in life?
What say you?
