Gosh, I curse a lot in my previous entry didn’t I?
I must have been very pissed at that moment.
Who wouldn’t be?
I was getting better with the treatments and all; I’m starting my internship again… Everything was going on smoothly until… THAT HAPPENS!
I don’t want to be repeating internship again and again. Who in the world would want that!?
Okay, so here’s a little update about what’s been happening with my life.
Went to watch Hancock yesterday with Mr Akib
. Yup. Hancock. Featuring Will Smith as Hancock and Charlize Theron (Italian Job) as Mary Embrey
I wanted to do a review until… Mr Akib called and told me he’s catching up a fever. *gasp*
(aih… dramatic betul)
It must’ve been his tonsil again. It’s either it’s infected or it’s swelling. I’m guessing that it’s infected and it’s all because of me. GAH!
He’s been with me all week all along when I was sick. I was coughing and sneezing and coughing and sneezing and then wheezing… And he was all there to witness it. *sigh*
Sayang, hopefully your fever won’t be as bad as the last time (you got an infection from me too *pouts*
)
Last Tuesday, I was really sick. I stayed in bed all day, couldn’t breathe, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t do anything else.
Late noon, my sayang came because I was all alone at home (It’s weekdays. Who would be at home?) and what if something happens to me right?
I don’t know why but everytime I caught asthma, I would feel relieved if mama rubs my back.
So that’s what he did for me. With some vaporiser and a few hours (yes a few hours) of backrub and I fell asleep, finally.
He must’ve been tired but he never stopped rubbing my back. I can see that he’s worried too. Of course he is. I mean, I’m worried for ME!
I love you sayang
Thank you so much for taking care of me!
Anyway, here’s a little review of Hancock. Don’t worry, very little spoiler (but it does have spoiler so, don’t read if you don’t want to) But I promise it won’t ruin your mood to watch it.

Hancock revolves around Will Smith who plays John Hancock who is the so-called “superhero” in Los Angeles. But the problem with this superhero is that he has fallen out of favour with the public by saving the world and erm, crushing them at the same time because he is drunk almost all the time.
Here’s a little quote from the movie:
Rail Crossing Crowd #2: Your breath smells like alcohol!
Hancock: That’s cause I’ve been drinking bitch!

Yeah, so you get the picture of the kind of superhero Hancock is.
Personally, I think I expect too much from this movie. Obviously because it’s a movie about a superhero so of course I thought there will be some villain fighting and more CGI Graphics playing but I was wrong and it left me a little disappointed. But I have to give thumbs up to Will Smith again, for a good performance in this movie. He is now in my list of favourite actor. Although I was left disappointed with the-none-cliché superhero movies storyline, it was actually good because then this movie left you a little unexpected feeling towards watching it. I have to say it has a good story value and a very deep meaning about family, friendship and love(duh! Which movie doesn’t have this?). The superhero story of Hancock gives a whole new meaning of superhero to me (yes it does) that nobody’s perfect. Yup. Nobody. Not even superheroes.
But this movie is entertaining and I’d give a 3.5 star out of 5 for the good storyline but the-not-so-good cinematography.
But I have to say all in all I enjoyed watching this movie. It’s no Transformers but at least it has a good solid storyline.
I’m going to watch Sepi this evening with Mr Akib (movie marathon?) and I’m pretty sure I’ll need a pack of tissue with me for that movie. Haha.
Okay, time to get ready for lunch at Mr Akib’s crib.
That’s all folks!
Toodloo~
