PAS, SERIOUSLY, STOP THESE NONSENSE.

Malaysian Islamic party to protest rocker Lavigne concert

Ok, I geddit, it’s nearly almost Ramadhan. Yes, we all get it.

But really, Islam is not about causing ruckus, commotion in public just to stand up for our belief.

In other words; Islam is about peace. Doing a protest like that will only cause more damage than good.

Think, PAS. Come on, THINK before you act.

What, humiliating Malaysia to the eyes of the world is not enough now you want to “buat kecoh”?

These are mostly going to be teenagers going there.

If you do a protest and if things turn ugly what will you answer to these teenagers’ parents?

And yet, you and your pakatan partners want to win the people’s heart?

And you’re saying what you’re doing is right? Are you sure what you’re doing is right?

So I’m not really that good in talking about politics.

Butat least I am aware enough to know there’s something wrong going on here.

Stop this.

What you’re going to do is only going to hurt people and humiliate Malaysia more.

Especially in front of these foreigners that are going to be there during the concert.

I am getting sick of people saying stuff like “muslims sucks” or “fuck muslims” or “fuck Malays” or “Malay sucks” or “stupid Malays” and “stupid Muslims” all over the internet.

Is this really what you want, PAS?

For people to look down on Malay people and Muslims?

I am for one, although an Avril fan and a Muslim and not support what you do, I still scold these people because though I have my faults in many ways I know where I stand as a Malay and as a Muslim.

Act civilised PAS.

If you really want to do the right thing why didn’t you tried to ban or make a scene at these concerts:

- PANIC! At The Disco’s, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Muse (THEIR MUSIC IS DARKER THAN AVRIL’S!)

- Pussycat Dolls (THEY ARE FREAKING SEXIER THAN AVRIL OK?)

- Mariah Carey (Again, she’s sexier than Avril)

- and the list goes on

We didn’t see you doing something to prevent these concerts from going on?

So the question here is; why is Avril suddenly becoming a political issue now?

Is it that you don’t have anything better to do that you have to ruin other people’s life apart from yours?

A few days ago, Wawa (my new friend whom I got to know because we both wanted to go to Avril’s concert) IMed me urgently saying that PAS Youth had submitted a memorandum of wanting Avril’s concert to be banned. According to them it was an insult to the National Day come 31st August and indecent. They also claimed that “rock and punk is not suitable for the young generation and especially so during Merdeka month”

PAS Youth wants Avril show cancelled

And guess what? Well, they received slams for two days in a row after that.

Presenting…

Avril Lavigne Concert Ticket

Need I say more?

Nah… Take a good look at the picture and let the pretty little picture explain it all.

Yes, baby. I am OFFICIALLY going to watch AVRIL LAVIGNE LIVE IN MALAYSIA!!

First row and free standing? (Just like during Pussycat Dolls’ concert) Me likey!

And may I say thank you to my new friend, Wawa who found me through this precious blog of mine and saw my little advertisement about going to Avril’s concert alone and decided to IM me.

As for now, I’m pretty glad that I don’t have to drag poor Mr Akib to the concert with me. I’m pretty sure that he’s glad himself. LOL. But thank you sayang for volunteering to accompany me to the concert.

Apparently Wawa is also from JB but she’s from Skudai and well, all I can say is that fate has brought us together. LOL. Sounds cheesy enough, Nanie?

So we both decided to meet up yesterday for a quick ice breaking at the Axcess ticketing outlet in Music Valley so that we can get our tickets too then.

Now this doesn’t happen to me very often… two strangers meeting up and then they just clicked? Well, not to me at least. But now that I’ve at least got to know Wawa a little, at least I won’t have to worry about going to the concert with a complete stranger.

So then we bought the tickets and although there were few technical errors during the tickets purchasing, we finally got our tickets. Heck, I, finally got my ticket!!

After weeks of agonizing patience. Yes, Penantian Itu Adalah Satu Penyeksaan. LMAO. Please stop me before I puke over myself. Thank you.

Currently playing in my playlist is all Avril Lavigne’s.

Gosh..

I really can’t wait for the concert!

Toodloo!

Updated: Oh, I just found out that they are selling VIP seats tickets for RM600 :( ME WANT VIP SEATS! F*CK! MAHAL GILE!
